Grief, Loss and Bereavement

Grief is a powerful emotion that can be difficult to deal with. Feelings are often overwhelming and intense, touching other places of unmourned losses within us.  

There is no one right way to grieve. There are no linear steps to follow.  We just have to find our way through.  It helps to have support. Grief hurts a lot more than you thought it would.  Grieving takes a lot of energy – sometimes up to 80% of your energy. Grief comes and goes, ebbing and flowing – sometimes catching you by surprise with powerful grief bursts.
