Shame is known as the ” universal silencer” ,
It is such an intense emotion, we often try hide it.
We hide it because we believe that we alone suffer in this way.
We isolate, freeze and spiral down.

In fact shame is so prevalent.  It shows up in everyone’s life to some extent.

Think of a situation which brings up feelings of shame for you.
Allow the feelings, uncomfortable as they may be.
Gently take some compassionate breaths in,
and soothe yourself with physical touch and kind caring words.
