Ten Secrets to Positive Parenting

This ls a great resource to parents of young children. There is no doubt that those early years are the busiest.  You wake up and hit the ground running.  If we are too stressed, our parenting becomes more reactive to situations, instead of proactive.   And often when we are stressed, we end up using the same coping skills we experienced with our parents.

Focus on the positive.  Shine a light on what is working.  Learn to be present and give undivided attention even for short bits of time.

In the end, it will be easier for everyone.
